The Deshojo Japanese maple is remarkable for its very spreading habit and the coloring of its foliage, initially bright red which then turns light green in summer and returns to red in autumn.
During the entire growth period, new leaves are born bright red and then turn green.
This maple is planted alone or in groups, in flowerbeds, in parks or gardens, understory or not, on north-facing terraces.
