The polished blades of the Wasabi Black range are made of corrosion-resistant 6A/1K6 stainless steel with a hardness rating of 58 (±1) HRC. The extensive range offers both double-sided sharpened blades and traditional Japanese single-sided cutting blades. The slightly arched back of the blade allows for a secure grip, making, for example, beautiful rocking movements easier.
The matte black handle is water-resistant and therefore particularly robust. Its chestnut or oval shape, depending on the size of the blade, allows a natural and pleasant grip thanks to the addition of bamboo powder, with antibacterial properties. The stainless steel handle and blade are not inserted into each other. The handle is heat molded onto the blade so that dirt cannot settle on it.
